π¦ This Week at the Pond: Chaos, Cozy Vibes & New Adventures!

October 8β14, 2026 | Duck Pond Weekly Recap
Hey Duckies! π
What a week it’s been around the Duck Pond! Between chaotic adventures, exciting game updates, cozy coworking mornings, and a whole lot of behind-the-scenes projects, we’ve been keeping ourselves pretty busy.
Grab your favorite drink, get comfy, and let’s catch up on everything happening around the Pond!
π‘ Chaos Day Was… Well, Chaos!
We kicked things into high gear with our special Chaos Day stream on October 9!
The plan? Play ARC Raiders, let the community cause trouble, spin some wheels, and see just how much chaos we could squeeze into one stream.
We had special Chaos Wheels, community milestones, bonus stream time, exclusive Duck Dex collectibles, and plenty of opportunities for the duckies to make my life interesting.
We ended the event with 5 subscriptions and 400 Bits, and while we didn’t hit our big 35-sub goal, every bit of support meant a lot.
We also introduced special Mythical Chaos Day ducks, giving our collectors some exclusive additions to chase.
Chaos Day was an experiment, and we learned a lot about what we’d like to do differently for future events. One thing is certain: we’re not finished causing trouble around here!
π ARC Raiders: PvE Is Finally Here!
This might be one of the biggest highlights of my entire week!
ARC Raiders introduced a PvE toggle for testing, and I cannot explain how exciting that has been.
For the first time since owning the game, I was able to enjoy playing for more than three hours without the usual physical stress forcing me to stop.
Being able to explore, loot, fight ARC enemies, and just enjoy gaming with friends without constantly worrying about other players has been an absolute game changer.
Of course, Dianna and I have still managed to make plenty of questionable decisions along the way. Apparently, removing PvP doesn’t remove our natural talent for chaos. π
We’re really hoping the developers decide to keep the PvE option permanently because it’s made the game so much more enjoyable and accessible.
More ARC Raiders adventures are definitely coming!
β Cozy Coworking Mondays
Our Monday coworking streams are continuing to give the Pond a cozy place to hang out, get things done, and occasionally get distracted together.
We’re sticking with our 45-minute focus sessions and 15-minute breaks, giving everyone time to tackle their own projects, chores, homework, or whatever happens to be on their list.
And yes, we still enjoy our TikTok breaks because productivity needs a little entertainment!
I’ve also been working on improvements to our task list setup, including new customization options and a date-and-time display.
The goal is to keep coworking simple, useful, and comfortable for everyone who joins us.
Whether you’re getting your entire to-do list finished or just showing up to keep us company, you’re always welcome.
π¦ A Little Something Different: Planet Zoo 2!
We also switched things up with a first look at Planet Zoo 2!
Having played the original Planet Zoo, I was excited to jump into the sequel and see what new adventures awaited.
Sometimes it’s nice to trade scavenging and survival for building habitats, managing animals, and creating something adorable.
Although, knowing me, even a peaceful zoo-building game has the potential to turn into complete chaos.
π¦ Duck Dex Updates & Pond Improvements
You didn’t think we’d go an entire week without working on the Duck Dex, did you?
We’ve been continuing to improve our little collecting universe, including:
- New and updated duck artwork.
- Seasonal and Halloween collectibles.
- Improvements to the Duck Dex website and collection displays.
- Planning our Daily Duck Dips feature, which will give collectors additional opportunities to discover ducks through the website.
- Working on a special Watch Streak Duck for our stream community.
We’re also continuing to polish the website to make it easier to navigate, explore collections, and discover everything the Pond has to offer.
The Duck Dex has grown into so much more than a little stream activity, and I’m excited to keep building it with you.
π» Behind the Scenes: Making the Pond Better
A lot of this week’s work happened when the cameras weren’t rolling!
We’ve been organizing our streaming setup, improving our Streamer.bot automations, updating graphics, and working on new ways to make our streams more interactive.
One of my favorite little additions is our automatic quack sound!
Now, when someone says “quack,” “quacking,” “quackers,” or anything containing “quack” in Twitch chat, our duck sound can play without anyone needing to type a command.
It’s a tiny addition, but it’s perfectly on brand for this ridiculous little community. π¦
We’ve also been working on fresh stream graphics, social media overlays, and plans for a future ARC Raiders Challenge Board where viewers can give us challenges to complete during streams.
The goal is always the same: make the Pond more fun, more welcoming, and more interactive without cluttering up the stream.
π What’s Next for the Duck Pond?
We’ve got plenty more planned!
More ARC Raiders adventures, cozy coworking mornings, Duck Dex updates, and community activities are all on the horizon.
We’re also looking at bringing back community game nights, where we can step away from our usual games and spend some time playing together.
But more than anything, I want to keep growing the Duck Pond into a place where people genuinely enjoy hanging out.
Not just a place to watch someone play games, but a little corner of the internet where you can laugh, chat, make friends, collect ridiculous ducks, and feel like part of something.
π«Ά Thank You for Being Here
Whether you’ve been here since the beginning, recently discovered the Pond, lurk quietly while doing your own thing, or show up ready to cause absolute chaos in chat, I’m grateful you’re here.
Every conversation, laugh, follow, subscription, and little moment of support helps make this community what it is.
We’re still growing, still experimenting, and definitely still figuring things out along the way.
But that’s part of the adventure.
Until next time, stay cozy, stay chaotic, and keep on quacking! π¦π
β Sweet
Catch me live on Twitch, Kick, and wherever the Pond takes us next!
